Campers learn technology skills at Channel 1022 camp

Middle-schoolers learned to use new technology during the Alliance City Schools’ Channel 1022 Video Camp.

Students practiced using e-Sports commentary and the skills needed to livestream events.

According to Channel 1022 Assistant Director Molly Schafer, they also experienced interviewing on a set at Alliance High School, broadcasting school announcements and got to use a drone.

During the three day camp, the students made storyboards and saw how green-screen technology is used in editing.

Troy Myers at Hot Pots hosted the campers for a session of taping of Artist for a Day so they could see how remote shows are taped with a Tricaster.
